Upcoming Advanced-Level ThinkTraining

June 10th, 2009

Fairfax, Virginia -- The more we train teachers, the more we see people with the capacity and the interest to go deeper. An advanced-level training has been scheduled in the Fairfax County Public School District to take place from July 15 to 17, 2009. Drs. Laura Colosi and Derek Cabrera will lead a select group of Patterns of Thinking enthusiasts to go deeper into how we think and how we can teach our students to think.

This advanced level is a meta-training for those who have completed novice and intermediate levels. Its purpose is to develop within a school or school district the leaders and mentors who will guide others in teaching thinking skills. Workshop "graduates" will then serve as on-site consultants for teachers putting method into practice.

This advanced training is the last level ThinkWorks offers before Ninja training, which is for those who wish to be experts in the Patterns of Thinking Method. Of those attending this July's advanced training, some Ninjas could emerge. . . .
